Kicking off the 2018-2019 year |
Hello everyone! Welcome to 8th grade science. I'm Ms. Everett and I'm new to Sycamore Canyon this year. This year will be my third year of teaching; I spent the last two years teaching 10th grade chemistry in L.A. I am so excited to be teaching 8th grade this year and I can't wait to get to know everyone.
This year we'll work to answer questions such as How do magnets work, Why exactly don't oil and water mix, and what's even smaller than cells? We will perform lots of experiments, make lots of messes, use any materials we can get our hands on, and even read articles and watch videos on chemistry in action. |
